FAQS

WHAT DOES YOUR BUSINESS DO EXACTLY?

We offer classes for inline and roller skating combined with exercise programs and services that are effective for skaters anywhere in the skill spectrum from beginner to expert.

Please review our services page for a listing of current offerings.

DO YOU SELL SKATES, PARTS, OR EQUIPMENT?

Though we do not sell skates, parts, or equipment at this time, we are available to help consult on skate or part purchases.  We highly suggest contacting us before purchasing equipment so that we can help ensure that you get equipment that suits your goals.

If you don't have skates, we do have a rental program available.  Please contact us for details.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN YOUR ON-SKATE CLASSES?

Students are expected to wear:

  • A Helmet

  • Elbow Pads

  • Knee Pads

  • Wrist Guards

  • A functional Pair of Skates

    • An attached heel brake or toe stop is required for new skaters as well.

If protective gear isn't something you want to use, you will be required to sign an exemption waiver before participating in classes (if the skater is under 18, it must be signed by a parent or guardian).

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD DO OUTSIDE OF CLASSES TO GROW AS A SKATER?

Yes, absolutely.

1. Practice makes progress.  Many skating skills are highly dependent on muscle memory which is developed through repetition. Find places to practice skills when time allows.

2. Network.  If you're comfortable with it, get plugged into the local skating community. Surrounding yourself with other skaters is both helpful and inspiring.

3. Exercise. The healthier and more mobile you are, the more you can achieve on and off skates.  Find a style of exercise that works for you and try to stay consistent and intentional with your workouts.
